Children

The vision that fuels our work in Children’s Ministries grows out of Jesus’ words in Mark 10:14, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” In the midst of a consuming ministry to adults, Jesus regularly ministered to children. We believe the future of the church and world depends on effective ministry to children today.

  • This year we are using Cokesbury's  GROW, PROCLAIM, SERVE! Grow, Proclaim, Serve! incorporates Bible stories, activities, crafts, videos, and games into a full faith experience for children. They will develop the skills to unlock the Bible message and grow their faith by leaps and bounds. Colorful, engaging, theologically sound materials invite children to explore the Bible in fun, age-appropriate ways, capturing their attention and ensuring that God’s message is taken to heart. Children will discover that their faith can grow right along with them!

In Between Services

Children  have the choice to attend the following classes as we continue to expand & explore our faith between services:

Infants & Toddlers: Room 1 & 2

Worship Arts: Our unique program combines dance, music and drama that will be used as an expression of worship in our Sunday Morning services. Our class time is scheduled between our two services so that all children can be included. The program includes age appropriate groups which participate in one or more of the arts depending on their interest on a rotating schedule.

The Current  worship arts session begins October 7th

  • 3-5th grades will be starting with Music
  • pre-k-2 grades will be starting Dance
  • pre-k-5th grades are welcome to do Art
All classes will be preparing for our Christmas Eve Family  Service. We will be presenting some of our Music, Dance, and Art all during December, so please join our classes even if you are not going to be here for our Christmas Eve Family Service.
